At McCallan Bonded, we offer premium whiskey storage solutions designed to meet the unique needs of each cask. Our state-of-the-art, HMRC-regulated facility provides a secure and climate-controlled environment to ensure optimal maturation.
The opening of our first warehouse, Clar House, marked Phase 1 of a comprehensive 7-phase development plan on our land. Since then, McCallan Bonded has continued to expand, moving through phases two, three, and four of our master project.
Phase 2 saw the careful dismantling and repurposing of Arthur’s Workshop now nestled within the plantation in the upper field , to maintain our fleet and carry out any coopering that may be required. This addition has enhanced our operational efficiency and ability to maintain casks on-site.
Phase 3 involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing Sandshed, allowing for further growth. The Sandshed with its versatile space currently serves as an event venue for customers and McCallan Bonded community events. It also has the potential for the installation of a filling tank in the future. The extension, known as Uncle Arthur’s shed, serves as storage for our plant fleet equipped with a battery charging point for our fully electric forklifts.
Due to the continued demand for storage, we have progressed to Phase 4, The Upper Shed, which involves the construction of an additional warehouse for cask storage. This phase is currently underway will be ready to receive casks at the start of October 2024.
At McCallan Bonded, we are proud to have achieved Net Zero status, reflecting our dedication to environmental sustainability and responsible business practices. Our efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that we contribute positively to global sustainability initiatives.
