Tourism Ireland USA Group Visit McCallan Bonded

We had the privilege of welcoming our friends from Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland to our family farm in Tyrone - and to say the visit was special would be an understatement.

We had the privilege of welcoming our friends from Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland to our family farm in Tyrone – and to say the visit was special would be an understatement.

It was a genuine honour to host a group who play such a vital role in sharing the story of Ireland with the world. Seeing them experience McCallan Bonded firsthand – from Maggie Pats Whiskey cask store and The Sand Shed to the stories, food, music, whiskey, and heritage woven throughout our family farm – was truly surreal for us.

What began as a small, bonded house in rural Tyrone has grown into something we could never have imagined. Watching guests connect so deeply with what we’ve built here, and the values behind it, was incredibly meaningful for our family.

Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and genuine appreciation for what we do turned the day into something far beyond a visit – it became a real milestone for our business, our community, and our story.

We are incredibly grateful. We are incredibly proud. And we are still taking it all in.

A heartfelt thank you to Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland, Jim from Wild Atlantic Distillery, Tyrone Tradfest, Dukes Ice Cream, Mac Ivors Cider, Ann Louise and Mary T from O’Kanes, Seamie at The Charm Inn and most importantly, the incredible behind-the-scenes team who worked tirelessly to bring this event to life.
