Our 4th McCallan Bonded Whiskey Night took place in May, featuring the extraordinary Michael Scully of Clonakilty Distillery in Co. Cork. Michael joined us to showcase a very special, rare hand-selected Pot Still Cask collaboration, created exclusively for our McCallan Bonded community of clients.
Guests were treated to an educational journey through Pot Still Whiskey, as Michael shared the fascinating story of Clonakilty. Our community explored different age statements, cask finishes, and even sampled a selection of alternative blends – an experience that delighted both seasoned whiskey enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
We were also delighted to welcome our dear friend and colleague, Annette Kearney from Brims, whose guidance and support over the past few years have been invaluable. We will always be forever grateful to Annette for everything she has done for us.
This evening held a deeper significance for everyone at McCallan Bonded. It also marked the full completion of our transformation journey, from a humble recycling facility to a premier Irish Whiskey Maturation, Cask Selection & Tasting Destination right here on our home farm in Co. Tyrone. A truly proud moment for our team, our clients, and the spirit of Irish whiskey.
